Accordingly, Denmark has an efficient and cost-effective network of ferry services both domestic and international. Check: Faerge. Be aware, though, that the Puttgarden- Rødby ferry must be amount the most expensive ferry minute for minute in Europe. I remember thinking that Strömstad – Sandefjord is one fifth of the price and five times as long. That said the Puttgarden ferry will save many miles of driving if you are going from north Germany to the Copenhagen area.
