Why Not Theatre Company

Why Not Theatre Company was established in 2007 by Nathalie Johnston and Sue Hansen-Styles, both British actresses living and working in Denmark.

The company’s primary objective is to provide audiences in Denmark with high quality, small cast theatre performed in English. It aims to present not only the works of some of Britain’s best known playwrights but also those of international playwrights: to cut across international and cultural barriers and explore contemporary issues and themes.

Why Not Theatre Company aims to stage productions that will appeal to a wide cross-section of audiences: not just to English mother-tongue audiences but also to Danes; not just adults but also young people.

The event will be an intense day of top level networking with some of Europe’s top speakers and networkers including Thomas Power the founder and CEO of Ecademy (the original Business Network) Henrik Qvortrup from TV2 and Mads Barner-Christensen. If your Danish is not quite up to it please make contact with Denmark’s premiere networker, Tina Jonasen who will be happy to invite you to similar English-language events.
